Bio: Alison Bodine
Alison is a peace and social justice activist in Vancouver, Canada. She is the Chair of Vancouver's peace coalition Mobilization Against War and Occupation (MAWO). For the last 12 years MAWO has regularly held public forums, discussions, rallies and petition drives in order to increase public discussion and awareness around issues of war and peace. Alison has frequently represented the peace movement in Canada at conferences and events across the country, in the United States and Latin America, and has led many workshops in high schools and universities.
Originally from the United States, Alison is a graduate of the University of British Columbia and the British Columbia Institute of Technology. She currently works as an Electrical Designer at an engineering firm in Burnaby.
