Korean Consul General, Gunn Kim
Consul General Gunn Kim joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1989 after passing the High Diplomatic Service Examination. He has served in the Korean Embassy in Washington, D.C (U.S.A), Abidjan (Republic of Côte d'Ivoire), Beijing (China), and Jakarta (Indonesia). Before coming to Vancouver as Consul General in 2016, he was the Director-General and Ambassador for North Korean Nuclear Affairs. He received his B.A. in Political Science from Seoul National University and his M.A. in Political Science from the State University of New York at Buffalo. He is married with two sons.
