Our dinner in January was a great event with an interesting talk by Mr. Ron Shore. Ron told us about the discover of the remains of a Liberator Bomber that crashed in mountainous terrain in British Columbia during WWII. Ron was involved with efforts to retrieve a part of the aircraft to include in a memorial to the crew. This memorial, which can be seen in Thompson Regional Park, near Chilliwack BC.
